youth camp '08 is coming!
considered by many students as "the greatest week of summer!" It's an incredible week of fun, building friendships, and a guaranteed experience with God!

IMPORTANT NOTICE!!
In an effort to keep our costs down, we are car-pooling with Harvest Assembly in Peoria to Camp. Because of this change, all students will need to meet @ Harvest Assembly on Monday, June 9 @ 9:00am.
itinerary:
-monday, june 9 - leaving HARVEST ASSEMBLY @ 9:00am
-we are taking 3 15-passenger vans and every seat will be filled! if you want to pick your seat, get here on time!
-there will be a cold-cut lunch (deli sandwiches) served @ Camp when we arrive.
-friday, june 13 - arriving @ HARVEST ASSEMBLY @ 4:00pm
-save $5 for the trip home. we will be stopping for lunch on our way home.
-we will have students calling home (for rides) when we are approx. 30 min. from home. that way parents don't have to camp out @ CCC all afternoon in the 107 degree heat!!
extra activities:
-free: every afternoon there will be water slides, pools, etc, set up to help keep us cool. you will want your swimsuit for that as well as a long shirt for over top. don't forget sunscreen!! there is also scrapbooking (all the cool guys are doing it...) and a skatepark (you have to bring your own board, helmet, & pads - required!!).
-that cost $: several have asked about the rock climbing, horse back riding, & paintballing. those cost between $5-25 per session (1 session per day). students will be able to sign up for these once we arrive and check in on monday. if you are planning on doing any of these, don't for get to pack appropriate clothing for them.

-DO NOT bring your cell phone. they are not permitted by the camp. pastor.chad will have his on him if it is necessary to contact parents.
