Hi, I'm James and I'm the Executive Pastor for Camelback Community Church. In case you're wondering what in the world an Executive Pastor is, basically I oversee all of the financial and business things at the church. In addition, I periodically teach on Sunday mornings, teach the 301 class and oversee our Real Life Small Groups ministry

I grew up in a Pastor's home. My Dad started, Howard Beach Assembly in Howard Beach, NY 54 years ago, & he's still there! My brother and 3 sisters benefited from watching my parents sacrificially give their lives to the church as we were growing up. My love for music came at an early age; by the time I was in High School, I started a contemporary singing group. We purchased a 1958 GMC custom coach bus and traveled and sang for the next 8 years. Over the next 20 years, I stayed actively involved in Ministry and owned a Residential/Commercial Construction Company. Karen and I have been married for 12 years, we have 4 children; Tricia and Tiffany are 27, Wes is 11, and Julia is 10. We also have a hilarious dog named Mollie. Seven years ago, we moved to Arizona and ultimately Camelback Community Church to work w/ my cousin John, who is the Lead Pastor. We've had the time of our lives, and possibly at times a little too much fun, (that's what our wives will tell you.)

     -odd fact: I am obsessed w/custom coach buses, & I used to have my handkerchiefs startched @ the drycleaners (now my wife does it for me when she's angry with me.)
     -Bible verse:  Jeremiah 29:11 - "'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD.  'Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future.'"
